This painting is a miniature version of my giant Abandoned Spoon. This bold painting depicts the all too common scene at most Awards, Black Tie or Gala dinners... ‘No dessert or coffee for me please... just bring more wine’.
 

The colours featured on the spoon and tablecloth are true-to-life reflections of the vibrant pink and blue event lighting of an Awards night held in Brisbane, Qld. The painting is based on an original photo taken by the artist in 2018.
