This small-scale painting of a single New Zealand Feijoa fruit is part of my limited brush stroke collection.  This 'stroke economy' approach to painting challenges me to paint more expressively and painterly - using fewer but more considered brush strokes, and cleaner more deliberate colour mixes.

These small scale pieces are a great affordable way to start collecting original art.
