Lethbridge 2019 Small Scale Art Prize Finalist

Part of my Brisbane Northshore Precinct Industrial Still Life series, I am proud to have my original oil painting 'Tin Sheds of Northshore' selected as an online Finalist of the prestigious '2019 Lethbridge 20000 Small Scale Art Prize'.

Walking through Northshore, Hamilton in Brisbane, I fall in love with the row of somewhat abandoned industrial sheds which had been brightly painted to promote the Eat Street Market precinct. I had so much fun painting this picture - all the faded and chipped paint - loved it.

So what next..... I want to complete the Northshore series and hopefully exhibit it as a collection that captures this moment in time.
